I love the meditations you have posted!
First of all, splitting up may not be as bad as you think. Emotionally, yes, it will be difficult for all concerned. However, financially, it may be a blessing in disguise.
By you and your husband separating, you ( and your children) could be entitled to social services, medical coverage, food stamps, low income housing, etc. plus you will have the support of your family. However, that may take time to get - which is where your family's support will come in. AND Social services may require your husband to pay child support. - YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF EVERYTHING.
Splitting up does not absolve your husband from assisting in the support of his family - in fact the state will require it.
Also if you are not able to work due to illness, you should apply for disability through social security
by moving it may be more difficult because they will want records and documentation from the doctors you have seen - although the records/consents will be sent via mail...
Why not try to get assistance from your current county prior to moving? Check with your department of social services and see what programs you qualify for. Also apply for social security ( as I mentioned above)
check 211 in your area for additional services available
and talk to a credit counselor about your debt - they may have some suggestions on how to best deal with your debt problems
